Property Entry

Check-in is free and can begin at 5:00 p.m.

The property is equipped with a combination lock; the code will be provided by automated email a few days before your stay. If you lose or have not received the combination to unlock the property, please contact 418.801.9153.



Tenant Responsibilities

The tenant:

• is responsible for ensuring these clauses are followed by all occupants.

• is responsible for any damage to the property and its contents, as well as for any cleaning costs beyond regular maintenance.

The tenant must report any damage to the property and its contents, as well as any lost items. Unreported damage or loss will be charged double their value.

• must ensure that doors are locked and windows closed when the tenant is not present;

Please do not make noise after 10 p.m.

Pet Acceptance


Pets are welcome and several amenities are available to ensure their well-being. In return, the tenant agrees to comply with the following conditions:

• The pet must be housebroken.

• Any "poop" must be picked up outside;

• The pet must not relieve itself on the back porch at any time;

• The pet must not climb on the furniture at any time (please provide blankets to protect the beds and sofa if your pet regularly uses the beds and sofa at home. A $30 fee per bed will be charged for cleaning the comforters if your pet has used the beds; an $80 fee is charged for cleaning the sofa);

• The pet must be vacuumed at the end of the stay to collect hair;

• The tenant must ensure that the pet does not disturb the neighborhood with its barking.

Cats that are not declawed must have claw protectors on all four paws.

The tenant is responsible for any damage caused by their pets.

    Departure

    Upon departure:

    Doors must be locked and windows closed;

    Electrical appliances and air conditioning must be turned off;

    Dishwashers must be washed;

    The refrigerator must be emptied;

    Garbage and recycling must be removed and placed in the designated bins;

    The outdoor fireplace or wood-burning stove must be extinguished;

    Keys must be returned to the combination lockbox upon departure.

    Cancellation Policy

    This policy applies to all reservations. However, the tenant may transfer their rights to another sub-tenant under the same conditions and obligations of this contract. In this case, they must notify the landlord.

    Additional Billing and Eviction


    If any of the above responsibilities and restrictions are not observed during the stay, the landlord reserves the right to evict the tenant, without any refund for the stay. In addition, the tenant will be invoiced for any damages or additional cleaning fees. The damage bill may, if applicable, exceed the deposit amount. The deposit does not, under any circumstances, constitute a maximum amount for the tenant's commitment.
